SAM’s Audit Committee provides oversight of the audit process, the organization’s system of internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations. Committee members meet with external auditors to discuss matters that the committee or auditors believe should be discussed, reviews proposed audit approaches and coordinates the audit effort with internal audit staff.
