Advocacy

SAM’s Policy and Advocacy Committee provides leadership and strategy for SAM’s policy, advocacy, and mobilization work while ensuring voice is centered on those impacted the most.  The Committee identifies local needs while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the pursuit of SAM’s overall mission and vision. The Committee creates an Advocacy Agenda that provides an outline of tiered actions/responses to best facilitate the rate of responsiveness required for this type of work.
